Fight For America

When I look around at the many immigrants in the United States I often wonder why most of the people that are coming into the United States don't fight in the war along side our men and women. Many immigrant men and women are shopping, taking all the good jobs and starting new businesses, while our men and women rough it out over seas fighting for our country.

The prison cells are getting fuller and fuller why can't we send those that break the law to war. This may sound a little cruel but really, why can't these guys and gals that like to stay in trouble do some time in the desert and maybe they will be less likely to go back to that same old criminal mind set once they are out of jail. The military has a very strict and effective discipline system and discipline is what the majority of the lawless need.
And as dangerous as it may be, prisoners that are eating up tax payer's money should have their very own military regiment. These guys should be given a special name and have special assignments that will allow them examined the seriousness of the crime they committed.

If immigrants love and want to be in America so much, they should also be willing to fight for America. There is not enough immigrants participating in our war, and in my opinion, this is not fair. Just like the prisoners who break the law, immigrants who break through United States boarders illegally could get citizenship after they served at least four years in the military.

Security, safety, communication, and language barriers do play a very important role in all the things that I mentioned above, but I know that if our politicians can figure out a way to make the above things happen. These thoughts come to mind almost every day.

Summary

I am a work at home mother of one teenager, married to a wonderful supportive man and a caretaker for my mother. My mother had both legs amputated at the age of 64, she is now 70. I decided I would rather take care of her at home rather than put her in a nursing home. Working at home has allowed me to expand my writing abilities. I attend college and am working on my bachelor's degree in business administration. I hope to have an online writing business in the near future. I have been writing for fifteen years and hope to soon publish a book of anthologies.I served eight years in the US Army and I truly enjoyed every bit of it. I received and honorable discharge when I chose not to re-enlist due to the fact I was pregnant with my daughter. My Power Mall
